5 Mistakes People make when visiting Disney
Not Having a Plan
Disney is a huge place and there is so much to see and do. Without a plan, you’ll end up wasting time wandering around aimlessly and may miss out on some of the best bits. Make sure you know what rides and attractions you want to do before you go, so you can make the most of your time.
Making Your Kids Go From “Rope Drop” to Park Closing.
Rope drop is when the parks open each morning, and it’s a great time to get on some of the most popular rides with shorter lines. However, if you try and do this every day, your kids (and you) will be exhausted by the end of the trip. Make sure to schedule some down time each day, so everyone can recharge and keep that smile going.
Not Mobile Ordering/ Eating During Peak Times
If you want to avoid long lines at restaurants, make sure to take advantage of mobile ordering. You can do this through the My Disney Experience app. When it comes to meal times, try and avoid eating during peak times like lunch and dinner. Instead, opt for breakfast or an early/late dinner.
Visiting Disney World During the Busiest Times of the Year
For example, Christmas break or summer vacation—means you’ll have to plan ahead if you want to avoid long lines. One of the best ways to do this is by taking advantage of Genie+ or purchasing lightning lane passes. This allows you to reserve access to select rides and attractions in advance.
Staying on Property but NOT Staying on Property
If you’re not staying at a Disney World resort hotel, you’re missing out on some serious perks. Not only do guests of Disney World resorts get free transportation to and from the airport, but they also get early access to book reservations and dining experiences—two things that can make your trip much smoother
