Unlocking Space Mountain
Join us on this weeks episode as we embark on a galactic journey and unlock the ultimate classic Walt Disney World attraction, Space Mountain.
Every time we visit, I instantly become that 9 year old kid again (or Bruce would say, “nerd out” haha) and become so filled with glee that I may in fact, embarrass myself. This truly is my all time favorite attraction.
Space Mountain inside the Magic Kingdom was so highly anticipated that the Walt Disney Company put on quite the show for the attractions dedication ceremony. A huge 2,000 member band, fireworks galore and 50,000 balloons were unleashed which was all televised as part of a two day special for the Wonderful World of Disney. They even had actual astronauts join them!
Tune in as we dive into space and discuss the original concept of Space Mountain and some interesting facts of how it has evolved over the years.
