This Week’s Disney News and Shenanigans Show
On this weekend edition of Unlocking the Magic, we have some fun chatting Disney news and more! From rose gold Minnie Ears to everyone’s thoughts on the Disney-Netflix spit, we go into lots of recent announcements.
We talk about the seemingly newer Disney express bus service being discontinued probably due to the recent launched Minnie Van Service that is collaborating with Lyft. Bummed that we never got the chance to experience the express service as a lot of guests really seemed to enjoy it however we think this new van service was overdue.
Details emerge on the new Grand Avenue, coming soon to Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Said to debut this fall, this new area will take over the now Muppet’s Courtyard along with the a section of the former Streets of America and transform into a present-day version of downtown Los Angeles. Muppet’s Courtyard will officially become Grand Park (a square off of Grand Avenue) and the theater will be renamed Grand Arts Theater. Our kids were relieved to hear that Muppet Vision 3 will remain (for now???).
Also included in this transformation is a new eatery, Baseline Tap House that will feature California beers, wines and “small bites”. Lastly, we discuss the coolest campaign, Dream Big, Princess” where anything is possible when you dream big.
