Disney’s California Adventure Park
Disney’s California Adventure Park blends 7 different “lands” including Pixar’s Cars Land and much more. This is a place where you can step into yesteryear along the infamous Paradise Pier and boardwalk where you will enjoy old-fashioned games along with some thrilling attractions.
When we first arrived, we found ourselves immediately immersed in the days Old Hollywood similar to that of Hollywood Studios in WDW. As we continued further down Buena Vista Street we realized that we were seeing Los Angeles in the year 1923 similar to when Walt first arrived.
At the end of the road stands a statue of Walt, his suitcase and Mickey Mouse that is not only a great photo opportunity but a place to reflect. Walt had arrived in the year 1923 with no job, only $40 dollars in his pocket yet a passion and dream. If there is anything we would want highlighted on our shows is the spirit of Walt and his belief that anything is possible.
On this episode, we discuss our experience of Disney’s California Adventure including some surprising thrilling moments (who knew Mickey’s Fun Wheel was so terrifying?! LOL!)
Be sure to listen for:
- The special plaque on Buena Vista Street
