Thor Love and Thunder Review
Thor: Love and Thunder is the fourth installment in the Thor film series and the twenty-ninth film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It is directed by Taika Waititi, who also directed Thor: Ragnarok, and features Chris Hemsworth reprising his role as Thor and Tessa Thompson returning as Valkyrie.
The film follows Thor as he struggles with his identity and purpose after the events of Avengers: Endgame. He is joined by a new ally, Jane Foster (Natalie Portman), who has been deemed worthy to wield Mjolnir and become the new Thor. Together, they must stop an old enemy, Gorr the God Butcher (Christian Bale), who has a vendetta against all gods and seeks to destroy them.
One of the film’s biggest highlights is the return of Natalie Portman as Jane Foster, who takes on the mantle of Thor and becomes the first female Thor in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. This development has been met with excitement and praise from fans, who eagerly wait to see a female Thor on screen.
Thor: Love and Thunder also introduce a new character, Korg (played by Taika Waititi), who was a fan-favorite in Thor: Ragnarok. Korg and his buddy Miek join Thor and Valkyrie on their journey to stop Gorr, the God Butcher.
