Top 5 Attractions in Disney’s Magic Kingdom
On this week’s podcast, we list our favorite five attractions at the Magic Kingdom. This was actually a lot harder than it may seem as there are so many great attractions to choose from.
Here we goooo…
#5. Peter Pan’s Flight
This well-known attraction, inspired by Walt Disney’s 1953 animated classic, Peter Pan, is modeled after the classic ride at the Disneyland Resort which remains one of the original attractions that opened with the park back in 1955!
Even though the version in Walt Disney World is not the original, it somehow still has a classic vibe to it. Flying in your own pirate ship is just the coolest thing ever and I just love the way this attraction makes me feel.. It’s just so fun to fly like Peter Pan over Neverland and it reminds me that I don’t ever have to grow up…
#4. Carousel of Progress
There’s A Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow…
No, it’s not just a place to cool off or nap lol. This attraction remains a must-do in our family. The catchy song, There’s A Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow written by Disney Legends, the Sherman Brothers brings us back to the days of wonder where the future was something so incredible. The best is yet to come.
#3.Haunted Mansion
One word, Constance.
#2.Tomorrowland Transit Authority People Mover:
THE BEST IS Seeing the architectural models of Progress City, the prototype for Epcot.
#1. Space Mountain
I think my love for space BEGAN was when my parents took me to the Kennedy Space Center..so I already was obsessed with space travel BEFORE I got to see this attraction. The first time I rode I was with two of my cousins ..we waited FOREVER. BUT back then you could see the rockets fly by above you and I just remember the feeling amazed by it all. THIS IS WHAT SPACE IS LIKE?!being in space
D23 JUST SHARED OLD SCHOOL PHOTOS
If I could change anything about the attraction I would revert it back to the old days when you could see the rockets fly by in the queue.
