Unlocking Disney’s New Orleans Square
New Orleans Square in Disneyland holds a very special place in Disney history. Part of the Disneyland expansion in 1966, the three-acre project was one of Walt’s last projects. Modeled after 1850’s New Orleans, Louisiana, the rich theming of mystery and romance is highlighted throughout the land.
Mint juleps, beignets, jambalaya, and live Jazz bring the very best of New Orleans French Quarter to Disneyland and we just can’t get enough! On the show, we unlock this very special place and share our reasons why everyone needs to visit.
