In this episode, we unlock one of the most colorful celebrations in Disney World, The Festival of Arts in Epcot. Join us as we “celebrate the creation of art and cuisine” and share the things we love most about this festival.
So what exactly is The International Festival of The Arts?
Officially debuting in 2017, the International Festival of The Arts, located in Epcot, promises to find your inner artist through the variety of ways art is created. It is typically about a six week celebration of all things art told through food (culinary arts), entertainment (performing arts) and of course artwork (visual arts), featuring collections from established as well as up and coming artists.
The festival is part of your regular admission to Epcot (with a few events as an extra charge) and it is totally up to you whether or not to take part. A mini passport is provided with all the details of the events as you roam around the park.
Things to love:
The food studios. There are multiple food “studios” (food booths) all with almost too pretty to eat foods. all throughout the park all with whimsical and artful twists.
The visual Art
From the 2d and 3d chalk art to the artist’s paintings and all the interactive ways to create art, the visual art throughout the park is one of the best elements that make the festival so unique and fun. We also love chatting with the artists and getting to know their unique styles.
Celebration of Figment!
Figment is the mascot of the event and there is no one better to teach you to use your imagination!
The Photo Ops
Literally being able to step into artwork from around the world and take great photos is always so underrated and fun!
The overall atmosphere and vibe that this festival delivers to Epcot.
The interactive pieces bring us back to the old Epcot – a place where you’re free to imagine and create.
